Thank you Jesus for warmer, sunny winter days where I can take my children outside to enjoy Your beautiful creation. We tried to take Isabelle outside earlier this week and she walked right back inside saying, "It's too much cold, Mommy!" I was definitely missing the South African summertime during our recent cold spell.
I'm also thankful for my new lens that Michael gave me for Christmas. These are some of the first pictures I've taken with it. One of my goals for this year is to push myself more in the area of photography. It's something I enjoy so much, but I want to take some creative risks this year that will take me out of my comfort zone. I think stepping out and putting the 2012 HOPE Calendar together was my first creative risk of the year. I'd like to start doing some pictures for other people, like family photos or baby pictures. One thing I would LOVE to do is take pictures of a birth. I'm really believing for opportunities to push myself to the next level in photography.
