Today I am thankful for my son, Ethan. I'm thankful for his smile and his beautiful blue eyes. I'm thankful for his laughter and the way he looks up to to his big sissy with complete adoration.
I appreciate his sweet personality and the way he can be so loving and affectionate. I love the way he dances whenever music comes on. I love his excitement for life and exploring the world around him. It brings a smile to my face when he says, "thank you" and uses his good manners.
Some days (and seasons!) it is super important to remind ourselves of the things we are thankful for in our children. Each stage has its challenges for sure. Ethan is giving us a run for our money now that he is 2! Sometimes it's easy to be so focused on the challenges and things that cause frustration that we miss out on the multitude of blessings our children can bring to us. Today, look for the good in your child and celebrate it!
